VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteers from UUCA will be providing bag lunches for the 50 residents of the House of Hope’s Alternative Shelter, located at the Annapolis Red Roof Inn, on Thursday, March 17. We are looking for 3 or 4 volunteers for that date, from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.
Lunches generally include a sandwich, chips, fruit cup or fruit, energy bar, and a fruit box drink. We will have all the supplies ready for making the sandwiches and packing the bags when you arrive. We view this as a way to “get our feet wet” in, eventually, participating in the House of Hope’s Winter Relief Program next year. We plan to schedule additional dates in the future.
