Purpose

The Memorial Garden provides a place of natural beauty:

  • to memorialize loved ones
  • to hold ceremonies and celebrations
  • to pause in quiet reflection and contemplation

The Memorial Garden serves church members and friends in many ways. It is a place to memorialize family members, loved ones, and friends, offering a secluded set reflection and meditation. With wooded trails that begin at the Garden, pleasant, quiet walks can be a part of the experience.

The Memorial Garden has also become a site to celebrate rites of passage such as weddings, unions, memorial services, and infant dedications. Occasional Sunday services may be held there as well. Gifts which have made and continue to make the Garden a meaningful place for everyone in the congregation are a blessing to us all and ensure that the Garden will remain an outdoor sanctuary to be enjoyed for many generations to come. The Memorial Garden has become a significant addition to our community life.
