FUNdraising News – Online Auction a Huge Success!

UUCA Fall Fest 2021, the church’s online auction was a huge success thanks to all who donated, bid, and gave of their time and energy.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!  We raised more than $10,000.  That in combination with the Coin Collection drive earlier in the year fundraising provided over $12,000 towards the church’s 2021 budget.  SUPER!!

None of this would have been possible without the more than 100 donors who provided such a variety of wonderful items and all those who bid whether you were successful or not.  Such great participation made the difference.  Thanks to your support of UUCA!!

 It does indeed take many hands to run an auction, even one that’s online.  We’d like to thank especially Jannina Ortiz who was responsible for graphic design and posting all the many publicity notifications, Deb Boudra and Don Patterson for the great job displaying all the art work in the church gallery, and Dianne Moreau for her helpful review of the auction site.  The Auction Team was super and each person played a critical role. Joni Crestwell’s photos greatly enhanced the donations on the auction site, Charlie Gross was our auction site guru, Jamie Harms was our resident physician evaluating all donations for Covid-safety appropriateness, Jackie Heimbuch maintained accurate donation records and with Pam Ausiello kept all the finances in order,  Evelyn Spurgin handled notifications of winners and provided much needed guidance from her online auction experience, and Patti Patterson and Diane Ratcliff handled publicity and overall leadership.  And a big thank you goes to Rev. John for his guidance and support!

Wednesday, December 8, 10 am – 2 pm or Sunday, December 12 following service until 1 pm.
