To be hospitable means you are friendly and welcoming to strangers or guests. We are a hospitable congregation and welcoming newcomers and members with snacks, coffee, tea, and kind words after services makes their UUCA experience memorable. Small groups, covenant groups, practice groups, families, friends are all welcome to serve! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please sign up to serve today!
What does serving mean? UUCA provides coffee and tea, sugar and cream, mugs, and utensils. You provide snacks for up to 50 people, set up and clean up during and after service.
Your group arrives by 9:30 am to begin preparing for “Coffee Hour” which includes coffee, tea, and whatever chosen snacks you like (cookies, chips, bars, etc). Bagged items preferred. You are welcome to attend the service. You may find it helpful to leave a little bit prior to the end of the service to finalize the setup. The coffee hour finishes at 12:00 pm. You or your group are responsible for cleaning up.
