The Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis

About Our Facility

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis is proud of its building and campus.  The 250 seat sanctuary sits on 6 acres of woods, tucked back from the busy street of Bestgate Rd.   With plentiful parking and close to major routes both in and around Annapolis, UUCA would love to host your event.   Below is a list of the most common requests we receive for space use.  We hope we are able to accommodate you!

Sponsoring Non-profit groups

We receive many requests from non-profit groups to provide regular monthly meeting space.  We are happy to support groups that are in alignment with the church’s purpose, mission, principles, and values.  All groups requesting meeting space who are not church members may ask an existing group in the church to sponsor them.  Members of the church-sponsoring group are then responsible to ensure that the non-profit group has access to the building, will lock the building when finished, ensure that the meeting space is clean and chairs/tables put away if needed.  Click here if you wish to be a Sponsor of Community Groups

Community Gatherings & Meetings

We are delighted to host a large group gathering and meeting at the church.  We are proud to host such monthly gatherings as The New Annapolitans as well as community organizations wishing to rent a space for a one-time gathering.   The sanctuary can hold up to 250 people.  We have an excellent sound system with PowerPoint projection.  For more information about the building and space usage, please contact Church Administrator, Maurita Williams between 9 AM – 2 PM, Monday through Friday.  For a glance at our rental fees, click here.

Member & Non-Member Use of the Building

Church members can rent or use the church’s space at a discounted rate, depending on the purpose of the event. Non-members or outside non-profit groups may rent the space at our regular rate. Payment for sound booth support, custodial services, or other needs will be negotiated with our Church Administrator. Please contact Maurita Williams-Bowie on how to book space at UUCA.
