Anne Arundel Connecting Together (ACT)

A non-partisan, interfaith network of 18 congregations and community groups in Anne Arundel County, MD. We are leaders and organizers who build power to improve the lives of our families and seek justice for all in our communities.

Building Beloved Community

Grounded in the 8th Principle, we pursue spiritual liberation and justice by dismantling racism and other oppressions within ourselves, our UU institutions, and the wider community. We engage UUCA members in deep self-reflection and education to understand the many forms of oppression, while equipping the congregation with tools to foster lasting transformation.

Coming To The Table (CTTT)

Founded in 2006 by descendants of both enslavers and enslaved people, we work on Taking America Beyond the Legacy of Enslavement (TABLE) by facing and uncovering history, making connections, working toward healing, and taking action.

Prison Ministry

We work with incarcerated women at Maryland Correctional Institute for Women (MCIW) in Jessup, MD, facilitating two programs: Nonviolent Communication (12-weeks) and Houses of Healing (15-weeks).

Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ3A)

SURJ3A (Showing Up for Racial Justice Annapolis & Anne Arundel County) is the local chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), a national network of groups and individuals organizing white people for racial and economic justice.

UU Legislative Ministry-MD (UULM-MD)

UULM-MD is YOU! UULM-MD is a collective voice of liberal religious values in our state. UULM-MD is comprised of anyone interested in making their voice heard in Annapolis on issues that advance freedom, equality and justice.

UU The Vote

UU the Vote engages people in voter registration, issue education, get-out-the-vote drives, voter protection, and more as we work collectively towards freedom and social justice.
