Dear UUCA community,
We invite you to attend the UUCA Congregational Meeting, which will take place on Sunday, June 8th, 2025, from 11:30am-1:00pm, following the single 10:00 am Membership Sunday Service. Come and hear important updates from our community; your engagement matters. If you are a member, please sign in before the meeting so your presence and vote can be counted. Practices of democracy are central to us as Unitarian Universalists, and this is a faithful example of that. This meeting will be held both in person and on Zoom.
We have three items on the agenda which will require votes. Please note that in order to vote, you must be a member, and you must have made a financial pledge within the last year.
Again, please attend! Your participation is needed!

The congregation authorizes the acceptance of the Finance Committee and Board-approved proposed budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Vote: Yay or Nay

Dear UUCA Members and Friends,
Our annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday, June 8, and the Board is required to give you at least 30 days to review any bylaw changes, which have been under review by our dedicated Governance Committee and Board of Trustees. Additionally, this email will also include the proposed 2025-2026 Budget for your review. Your questions, comments, and insights are essential—please read, attend a session, and share your feedback.
How We’ll Get to a Final Draft
- Drafting – The Governance Committee reviewed every line and proposed revisions.
- Board Review – The draft was refined with Board feedback and released today.
- Congregational Notice – May 9 starts a 10-day open comment period (May 9–19).
- Second Board Review – The Board considers all feedback and updates the draft.
- Re-release – A final version will be published Friday, May 23—14 days before the Congregational Meeting.
- Vote – The congregation votes on the bylaws, budget, and nominations on June 8.
