Black Lives Matter Sign DedicationJoin us for a formal dedication ceremony of our new-ish, soon to be installed Black Lives Matter sign.
During our March 8 worship service, “Blackness, the Original Other,” we will explore the historic and ongoing realities of anti-Blackness and the sacred call to affirm Black lives in our faith and in the world. Immediately following the 2nd service, we will process outdoors together for the dedication of our Black Lives Matter sign.
March 8 | Two Services
March 8 is also MOSAIC Sunday, when we lean intentionally into our 8th Principle education—journeying toward spiritual wholeness by building a diverse, multicultural Beloved Community. As part of this commitment, we will deepen our understanding of the Black Lives Matter movement and what it asks of us. This is an outdoor activity. We hope you will join us as we bear public witness—together.
